Our remarkable Teacher Phalla completed her Associates degree, attending college on weekends, and was #1 in her program. We could not be more proud of her efforts.
Her grandfather was a doctor but war made education an impossibility for her parents. She was forced to leave school at an early age to work with her mother. Her story is a testimony to the power of perseverance and positive thinking.
She inspires students with her kindness, skill, and hard work. How lucky the school is to have such a phenomenal teacher for the past fourteen years!
