We are so grateful that two of our student essays are included in the 2026 MWCC Essay Contest Annual Publication. The writing of two students was selected by Teacher Phalla and other administrators. The winning students each received a bicycle and framed certificates.

New signs, new landscaping and a new shelter from the sun have been added by the government to our school. The patio roof shelter was added to our school library in 2024, reducing the heat both on the patio and inside the library as well.
Thanks to generous donors, Teacher Phalla was able to replace four computers that were failing, as well as broken keyboards and mice. The year is starting off with many new tech supplies and library books!

All students graduating from 9th grade receive backpacks filled with school supplies for their success in high school. The backpacks are made locally by women using traditional Cambodian fabric that is typical of their krama scarves. Students who choose to learn computer skills also recieve framed certificates for their tech education.
Despite issues related to extremes of weather in rural Cambodia, the Lowell Garden was seeded several times this year.
