Bikes

Bikes are essential to our students when they enter high school. While our school is fairly close to the village, their high school is five miles away, not within easy walking distance.

Inspired by their trip to our school in summer 2015, two Cambridge teens, Andrew and Will Keating, immediately began fundraising to give every 2015 and 2016 ninth grade graduates a new bike. Their campaigns were successfully funded for both years and they inspired a group of Boston students to continue this fundraising effort to help Cambodian students attend High School.

Including transport fees, each bike costs $45. To honor a friend for the holidays or a birthday, learn how we will send them a festive card here.

Please help local students fundraise for bikes to give each 2022 graduate — by clicking here to donate.

Responding to a need articulated by our students whose tires frequently popped in the extreme heat, the Keating brothers also raised sufficient funds to build a bike shelter (seen in the photo below).
