2025 Max Warburg Courage Essay Winners
Every year Teacher Phalla administers an essay contest about courage that follows her curriculum about the topic and instruction in essay writing skills. Together with the school principal and our American leaders, she chooses two essays that are translated into English. They are then published in the annual MWCC book by the Boston-based non-profit that distributes these books to all participating Boston public schools and many private schools.
The global outreach of the Max Warburg Courage Curriculum is profound for the many schools in the developing world that participate, as well as for Boston students who gain global awareness when exposed to the challenges that are overcome by students all over the world.
Each of our two MWCC essay winners is awarded a new bike and special citation. All participants receive participation citations, many of which are displayed in their village homes.
