Lowell Educators visit our school

Fourteen Lowell educators from the Middlesex Community College (MCC) and Lowell Public Schools visited the Cambridge Cambodia School in July 2016. Led by Dona Cady, Dean of Global Education at MCC, this group donated books and supplies to our library and gave tech and educational advice to our teachers. We are very grateful for their visit and for sharing their expertise.

The Lowell teachers were able to attend the informal graduation ceremony for our 9th grade students. This year graduating students received a new bike, as well as certification of their tech skills. Thank you to all who donated to the bike campaign that was led by Cambridge teens, Andrew and Will Keating.

Graduating seniors receive a new bike and a certificate qualifying their technological education.

Lowell, Massachusetts is home to the second largest expat community of Cambodians in the United States. We are honored that the Lowell educators visited our school during their one-month trip to explore Cambodia’s Cultural Heritage in the Modern World.
